Peace Essay The Peace Essay Awards Reception will be held on March 9, 2012 at the Mary Stuart Rogers Student Learning Center, MJC West Campus, 2001 Blue Gum Ave, Modesto CA 95358. Come meet and congratulate the winners.
Pancake Breakfast On Sunday, June 3rd, 2012, we will have our annual Pancake Breakfast at the Church of the Brethren, located at 2301 Woodland Avenue in Modesto, California. Bring your appetite! We begin serving breakfast at 8 a.m. and run till noon.
Peace Camp This year's Peace Camp (2012) at Camp Peaceful Pines near Pinecrest will be June 22-24. The weekend offers workshops, hiking, campfires, singing, a talent show, children's activities and often thought-provoking speakers. Join us for great discussions, stimulating community, and fun for people of all ages. Vigils The Modesto Peace/Life Center has a vigil the first Wednesday of each month at the corner of McHenry and J Street (Five Points), from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Signs are provided, but you can always bring your own.

Move to Amend Amend the Constitution to establish that only real human beings are "persons" under the law.
